I haven't shared much about what's going on with my life right now, i've only done journals whenever i'm opening commissions and stuff. But now i'm making a journal to say i've gone to a furry convention for the first time.

Months ago, a friend of mine told me about a furry convention that's happening in another city but at first i refused because i had other plans, it was the same week i had my family vacation trip, i was going to another place around the same week that's happening. However, i noticed a couple of cool people was coming to the convention too and i figured i would be wasting a big opportunity by not going there, so i've been thinking about it for a good while until i made up my mind and decided i was gonna join my friends too. My family was gonna be in a vacation trip for way longer than the convention anyways so i've decided i was gonna stay in Santiago de Chile while my family was in another place and then take a bus there when the convention was over.

So, while i was preparing for my stay at the convention, the intrusive thoughts happened, what if it's a bad idea, would it be a mess? Will i be fine?

I didn't know what i was getting into, i've heard a lot of furry convention horror stories, conventions that go awry, etc. But then i went there! ...And it was alright! In fact, people were too nice, i've met a lot of cool furry friends there, i've even met with internet friends we've met for the first time in real life, people who followed my work, a chilean furry artist we're mutuals on twitter (Not calling it X, no sir, sounds like a porn website... oh wait). 

During the three days i've been there, i had a good time dressed as my character Jimmy, despite not being the best looking suit, i've received compliments about my Jimmy head and even had people take pictures with me. I was too shy to ask people to take photos with me, but i asked em to draw my convention book at the last page haha. I've even drawn with my Ipad my friends character and a few other doodles.

Would i assist to another future convention?

Probably

I am still not sure whether or not i will go to Pawstral 2025 that's gonna be once again at Santiago de Chile in August 29 to 31st, 2025. But who knows, maybe i'll show up or maybe not, it depends on how available i am to go for another bus trip to that convention!

I can't make any promises if i'll go to the next SAFE (Santiago Anthro Fest) convention next year either, but it would be nice to meet with my online friends and acquaintances again in the future.
